Random curiosity
I really really wish I knew who was responsible for the horror that was http://theleicestershires.blogspot.com.
It's now beginning to vaguely bug me.
From an entirely external perspective, it must be said that I assumed it was the lassie that Leah and Robin reckoned it was. The entire spoof blog seemed terribly fixated on the critical issue of whether her boyfriend did or did not proposition Leah, and that struck me as indicating a personal connection to the incident. Not to mention the rabid defensiveness when Leah and Robin went for the 'name and shame' approach on their blog.
Now, reading around an assortment of other blogs (which is kinda trollish, but I'm trying to understand what is going on here) there seems to be a consensus that it wasn't her at all, which also implies that everyone knows who it is.
I just wish someone would tell me or the culprit would 'fess up! Admittedly, I suspect it would do little good now. It would have been a good and virtuous thing to do at the time, but I suspect the damage is now irreparable. It would make me feel a lot better, tho.

As far as I was concerned, I thought Leah had identified who was behind the parody, and took that on face value. I don't know of any name being passed round behind the scenes.
I thought Leah has as well, which is why I've been a bit confused by some of the ranting in assorted comments about how Robin and Leah had blamed a totally innocent party. I've been feeling mildly guilty for blithely sending out dark and bad thoughts in the direction of this Lib-Dem-Sally person, if it was actually someone else that everyone knew about.
It's very odd, in general, peering in from my perspective of zero involvement with/knowledge of the Lib Dems and seeing all these social dynamics which I just don't quite get.
